General Operating Support Grants Will Be Available in 2024

In response to partners and grant applicants, New Hampshire Children’s Health Foundation is shifting our responsive grantmaking from project related awards to general operating support. Beginning with the spring 2024 application cycle, opening on February 1, all applicants can apply for funding to be used to best support their organization. Grants will be limited to the funding priorities Healthy Eating and Active Living, Oral Health and Access to Children’s Health and Dental Insurance Coverage and Enrollment.

Grant awards will be determined based on applications that demonstrate the organization’s commitment and ability to sustain or advance the priority.

Progress and final reports submitted by grantees will inquire about how the organization was able to advance their work with the benefit of NHCHF general operating support and what changes were accomplished during the grant period.

Only requests for single year awards may be submitted. Requests for funding ranging from $10,000 to $20,000 will be considered.

Grant applicants will be required to submit a Letter of Inquiry between February 1 and February 15 using the NHCHF online template. A Call for Applications will be issued via email on February 1 and the Letter of Inquiry template will be available then. Those invited to submit a full application will be notified by March 1, 2024.

If you have questions about NHCHF general operating support, funding strategies or other grant related items, contact Program Director Patti Baum.
