In our 2025 Spring grant round, the New Hampshire Children’s Health Foundation has provided general operating support to ten organizations of 24 which were invited to submit applications. Our recent shift to general operating support demonstrates the demand for resources needed for day to day operations by New Hampshire nonprofit agencies and organizations.
Awards were made based on the applicant’s commitment and ability to sustain or advance one of the Foundation’s responsive funding priorities and strategies.
The following organizations received grant awards totaling $187,000 to support their work in these areas.
Priority: Food Insecurity (Healthy Eating)
- New Hampshire Food Bank (Carroll County) — $20,000
- United Way Greater Nashua — $20,000
- Merrimack County Conservation District (Merrimack, Belknap, Hillsborough counties) — $20,000
- Gather (Portsmouth/Rockingham County) —$20,000
- ORIS (Concord, Manchester ) — $20,000
- Willing Hands (Upper Valley) — $20,000
- Whitefield Library — $7,500
Priority: Oral Health
- Traveling Tooth Fairies (Statewide) — $20,000
- Amoskeag Health (Manchester) — $20,000
- New Hampshire Oral Health Coalition (Statewide) — $20,000
